Home Energy

You could receive a grant of up to £2700 for warm improvements.

The Warm Front Grant is a government scheme to make your home warmer, healthier and more energy-efficient.  It can also help you save money on your fuel bills and you will feel the warmth that insulation and heating improvements bring.

You may qualify for a grant if you own your home or rent it from a private landlord and receive an income-related or disability-related benefit, and:

  • are 60 or over;
  • are disabled;
  • have a long-term illness;
  • have children under 16;or
  • are pregnant and have been given a MAT B1 certificate.

You may receive a combination of the following insulation and heating improvements:

  • Light Bulbs
  • Loft Insulation
  • Draughtproofing
  • Hot-water-tank Insulation
  • Glass-fronted Fire
  • Gas or Electric Central Heating
  • Gas or Electric Heaters
  • Cavity Wall Insulation
