Training

This section provides information relating to the training that is provided on behalf of the Safeguarding Board.

The work of the Board in this area is undertaken by the Training Subgroup. The Subgroup meets on a monthly basis and reviews all feedback and evaluations of courses, as well as determining which courses are to run in the future.

If you have any comments about a course that you have attended, or have views about courses which should be run by the Safeguarding Board please send us these via email.

Please note that, as set out by the training section in Working Together (2010), the Safeguarding Board training focuses solely on multi-agency training. Should you require basic awareness training or your agency have specific training needs, these should be undertaken on a single agency basis and you should approach your in-house training department in relation to this.
