The Golden Bin

Torbay Council’s Golden Bin competition will involve a watchful eye on all public litter bins within the town centres of Brixham, Paignton and Torquay.

Each day a number of standard public litter bins will be selected to represent Golden Bins, council staff will then approach those found disposing of their litter responsibly and offer them the chance to be entered into a prize draw to win the value of a Fixed Penalty Notice.

The £75 available as the prize will equate to the cost of a Fixed Penalty Notice which will now be handed out to those caught littering in Torbay.

The competition will run from 9 June 2008 to 30 July 2008.

Name the Bay Team

The Bay Team are currently nameless and we are looking for your suggestions as to what to call each superhero.

We also want to know a bit more about the Bay Team characters, so as well as naming them, we also want to develop profiles for both the male and female superhero.
