Part I

Torbay Council has a requirement under Part 1 Environmental Protection Act 1990 authorise a number of Industrial processes with respect to their emissions to air.  There are a large number of processes that require authorisation.  In Torbay these include Northfield Foundry, Snowdons Car Body Repairers, Torquay Crematorium, as well as a number of small processes.

There is a public register that includes details of the processes, their likely emissions and where appropriate any monitoring is required.  This can be viewed at Roebuck House.
