Casual worker holiday pay advice
In October last year Torbay Council carried out a review of its casual worker arrangements. During this process we became aware that casual workers have not received their correct holiday pay entitlement, in line with national increases.
How do I know if I am entitled to a payment?
- You will have been working as a casual (or sessional ) worker for Torbay Council, making claims for payment and would not have taken holiday; or
- You may have a substantive post with Torbay Council or in a school, and have also completed some casual work( not overtime or additional hours in a part time post)
In order for us to make any payments owed, you will need to sign and return the Holiday Pay Claim Form below, indicating whether your details have changed or remained the same since you last worked for us.
