Free School Meals
Your child is entitled to free school meals if you are in receipt of:
- Income support
- Income based Job Seekers Allowance
- Support under part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
- Child Tax Credit - but not entitled to a Working Tax Credit, and your income (as assessed by the Inland Revenue) does not exceed £15,575.
You must show the necessary documents to the school to prove your eligibility as the free school meals cannot be given until the proof is seen. You can download and print a copy of the Free School Meals Application Form from the Do It Online panel to the right and view the relevent guidance notes from the Related Documents panel below.
