Primary School Admissions

The closing date to apply for a primary school place for September 2012 has now passed. If you have applied online you will receive an email on 20 April 2012 after 4pm advising you of the place allocated. All applicants will also be notified by letter, sent out on 20 April 2012.
If you have not yet applied for a primary school place for September 2012 and your child was born between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2008 you will need to complete form CAF 2 and return it to:
Admissions & Students Services,
Ground Floor, Oldway Mansion,
c/o Town Hall,
Castle Circus,
TQ1 3DR
You can download form CAF 2 below, or you can phone 01803 208908 to ask for a paper copy. Remember to keep a copy of the form for yourself.
Before applying you should read the TIPS 5 brochure, which is available to download below. This contains details of the application process and the admission criteria for each primary school. Some schools have supplementary forms that will also need to be completed. You can get these forms from the school and should return them directly to the school.
Your application will be treated as a ‘late’ application. This means a place will be allocated for your child after all applications received on time have been processed. We will notify you about the school place allocated for your child until after the main allocation day, on 25 May.
