Drop-in Sessions - Under 5's

The Educational Psychology Service provide a drop-in service for parents/carers with  children under the age of five years which are run at Sure Start centres across Torbay.

These drop-ins give parents/carers an opportunity to have informal discussions with Educational Psychologists about aspects of their child’s development and learning as well as a wide range of general parenting concerns. For instance strategies to support bed time routines, toileting and challenging behaviour.

Appointments are not typically booked at drop-in sessions as they tend to consist of informal advice given whilst the children are engaged in the session run by Sure Start. However if you feel that it would be useful to highlight that you are hoping the speak with a member of the Psychology team at a particular drop-in then feel free to contact the service using the details listed on this page or contact the appropriate Children’s Centre using the details listed below:
