As students progress with their instruments, opportunities develop for joining local, county and national ensembles and orchestras. We have funding available for up to 50% of the fees for these. These ARE NOT available for instrumental lessons.

The Torbay Freemen’s Golden Jubilee Fund
The Freemen in Torbay, in the year of Queen Elizabeth’s Golden Jubilee, wanted to return something to the residents of Torbay for the honour given to them as Freemen of the Borough.
They thought for many months and finally decided to set up a Charitable Fund to help those who were musically minded but whose families had financial difficulties in purchasing an instrument of their choice or paying for musical tuition.
