Library Services for Teenagers

You can find all sorts of things in libraries. Every Torbay library has a collection of Teenage books, including study guides to help with GCSE coursework. You can also access the Internet and CD-ROM titles for free. You'll find the CD ROM collections in the adult section of the library, along with DVDs, videos and CDs. If in doubt - just ask.

Teenage Gold Star Books
Every library has a collection of the latest novels, including graphic novels.

BOOX
These are collections for books for young people aged 14+ and they include fiction, graphic novels and titles covering sport, music, beauty, health and more.

GCSE collections
These are availabile for coursework or that extra bit of cramming before exams. A wide range of subjects is covered, but if the one you want isn't there, let us know.

Careers Guides
In case you're wondering what you want to do when you leave school, there are collections of careers guides in Torquay and Paignton libraries. They cover a good range of career options from Architect to Zoologist and can be found in the GCSE / Teenage / BOOK sections.
