You can search either Newsbank or the Times Digital Archive.

Newsbank provides access to articles from the following major dailies:

• The Western Morning News

The Times Digital Archive provides the complete page of every issue of the London Times from 1785 to 1985.

You can retrieve full facsimile images of a specific article or the complete page. The entire newspaper is captured, with all articles, advertisements and illustrations/photos divided into a number of categories to facilitate searching.

How to Access Newsbank and the Times Digital Archive

Anyone can access these services online at their local library. Members of the library can access these services anywhere, even from home! All you need to do is enter your library bar code number.
