The Summer Reading Challenge™ is simple – read six books during the summer, through your local library. Children collect a special pack from their local library and go on to collect  a set of incentives as they read, with a certificate and medal for those that successfully complete the Challenge.

The Agatha Christie Festival (15 - 21 September) is an annual celebration of the life, work and cultural legacy of Torbay's most famous daughter. During the Festival you'll find all the Christie-related reading you need in our branch libraries, including an extensive archive of her novels and related works in the Local Studies section of Torquay Library.
