Capital Strategy

“Property” is one of the Council’s most important assets used in service delivery alongside “People” and “Pounds”. The Council’s land and buildings asset base of some 1,500 properties has a current use Balance Sheet value of over £200million.

The Corporate Capital Strategy is the policy document that brings together the programme of capital investment in property used across all the Council’s services and informs decisions on capital spending priorities within the Council’s 4-year Capital Plan Budget.
