Financial Services provides a comprehensive financial management service to all departments of the Council. We aim to 'provide a quality financial support service which effectively, efficiently and economically meets the needs of our customers'. This includes:

providing financial advice to all service managers and elected members
providing financial advice for strategic planning and policy making to ensure the efficient and effective use of resources
provision of financial management information to all service managers
co-ordination and preparation of the Council's statutory statement of accounts
advice and co-ordination on the effective use of capital and revenue budgets

All documents will be made available in different languages and formats as required.
