14-19 NEETs Action Plan

The NEETs (Not currently engaged in Employment, Education or Training) Action Plan will directly contribute to the economic prosperity of Torbay through minimising economic inactivity by young people aged 16 to 19, contributing to the skill levels of the Bay’s workforce and enhancing the viability of local businesses.
The aspiration for this strategy is that all young people will stay on in education or training until the age of 18, developing the skills that will enable them to succeed in life.  This will contribute to economic prosperity which is central to Torbay’s Community Plan vision.
