A Sample Ceremony

This place in which you are now met has been duly sanctioned according to law for the registration of civil partnerships and we are here today to witness the formation of a civil partnership between                and               .

              .and                would like to welcome you here on this very special occasion and on their behalf, I would like to thank you for joining them at the start of their new life together.  I know that it means a great deal to them that you can be here to share in their happiness on this occasion.

Together they will be stronger to meet whatever life holds for them.
