Local Land Charges - Personal Search

A Personal Search is an inspection of the Local Land Charges Register only. It can be carried out by anyone upon payment of the Personal Search fee. Please note that a Personal Search does not provide all the information given on a full “Official” Search with replies to enquiries.

The Land Charges Department does not have an obligation to answer any further enquiries relating to the information found by somebody who has made a Personal Search.

An appointment system is operated within the Land Charges Department and at least 3 days notice is required.

Appointment hours are between 10.00 and 12.30 and 14.00 and 16.00.
