Our mission Statement is: To support all the Councils objectives by providing professional management of the Council Property Assets Portfolio. We maintain and where possible maximise value and revenue whilst facilitating the delivery of individual services.

Estates Service Team:
The members of staff include the Estates Manager, the Principal Valuer, Valuers, a Disposals Officer, Property Records and Estates Assistant (P.R.E.A.) and an administrator.
All staff and the Disposals Officer have expertise in Public Sector property and are members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and regularly attend training courses and seminars to maintain their professional development.
The Estates Service Valuers have particular responsibility for property issues within the following service area of the Council:
The Property Records and Estates Assistant specialises in property and land ownership and is involved in the development and maintenance of various data bases which provide information for other departments within the Authority and members of the public.
The Estates Service work jointly with the Corporate Property Team in respect of corporate wide property issues such as disposals and share case work with colleagues in Legal and Finance.
Office opening hours: 9.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Thursday, 9.00 am to 4.00 pm on Friday.
