A representative from the Pension Service in Plymouth visits Paignton Connections every Wednesday morning to assist any customers either of/approaching Pensionable age in claiming retirement pension/pension credits or any other pension related benefits. This surgery is on a drop in basis with all conversations taking place in a private interview room in order to maintain confidentiality.
Local Community Policeman, PC Grant Pay-Savage will be in attendance for this once monthly drop in question and answer session. He is available to answer any queries that people may have regarding Policing or Crime Prevention in the Paignton area.
This surgery is being hosted by Mark Peel, who works for Social Services and is specifically assigned to assist in the needs of the deaf community residing in Torbay. No appointment is required as this is purely a drop in surgery for any deaf people who have a problem that they feel that Mark in his capacity may be able to assist with. We all wish him well and are sure that it will prove to be very popular. Minicom users can contact Mark on 208603. SMX 07833194328 and all other users on 1800201803208603.
Connections are delighted to welcome this new surgery to Paignton.
The surgery will give members of the public "Open Access" to information whether it be for themselves or a friend/relative. It also offers customers an assessment and an entry point for treatment. Whilst the surgery is essentially for adults, young people will be directed to the young persons unit. Leaflets and other information will also be available to customers and members of the public.
Anyone wanting to contact The South Devon Drug Service directly can telephone 01803 396700.
