Recycling Boxes collected at the Kerbside

To keep the use of landfill sites to a minimum and to keep a clean and green environment, we encourage you to reduce, reuse and recycle as much as possible.

Below are the items that can be put in each box. Where possible, lids/tops should be removed from plastic bottles and all containers and bottles should be rinsed out. Please squash down containers where applicable to ensure that we can collect the maximum volume of recyclable material, and please try to flatten cardboard so we can collect more on each round.

Please separate recyclables in the boxes but do not place them in plastic bags. When putting your recycling out for collection, please use the nets provided in order to stop the contents blowing away in the wind and gulls getting access.

If you need to order additional bins or have lost your bins you can email connections@torbay.gov.uk.
