Holidays & Term Times

School Term and Holiday dates are set by the Council and apply to all Community and Voluntary Controlled Schools. Governing Bodies of Voluntary Aided and Foundation Schools are recommended to adopt the dates set by the Council.

Our term and holidays dates for 2009/10 and 2010/11 together with non-pupil and occasional days for 2009/10 are detailed below. For further information on other closure dates please contact your child's school.

Term-Time Holidays

Proposed Term and Holiday Dates 2011/12

The consultation on the proposed calendar for 2011/12 has closed. The Director for Children in consultation with the Lead Member for Children will shortly agree the term and holiday dates for 2011/12. The agreed calendar will be published in March 2010.
