Street Café Licence

You will need a licence to use a portion of a public street, road or place for the sale of food and drink and for the placing of tables, chairs and other furniture outside a restaurant or café for people to use whilst consuming food and drink.

Please note: All applications will be assessed individually by a Highways Officer and advice will be given on site. Licenses will all have a 1 April commencement date.

Fees

• Up to 10m²  - £215 per annum (3 year permit) to be invoiced annually in March/April
• 10 - 20m²  - £320 per annum (3 year permit) to be invoiced annually in March/April
• 20 - 30m²  - £430 per annum (3 year permit) to be invoiced annually in March/April
• Over 30m²  - £540 per annum (3 year permit) to be invoiced annually in March/April
• Transfer of or alteration to licence - £80
