Are you a team player who is self-motivated and able to work autonomously and who enjoys responsibility? Would you be motivated by working with people across a wider variety of settings including public, private, voluntary organisations and in community groups to help everyone get better outcomes?

Do you see the value in trying things and giving them every opportunity to succeed but also seeing the value in being clear and sharing learning from when they don’t?

Are you able to listen, negotiate, contribute and support people to use new tools and techniques to inject good practice and learning into change initiatives?

This is a unique opportunity for a motivated, inspirational and inquisitive person to make their mark in supporting the rapid changes needed in the delivery of adult social care and associated health environments. We need a completer finisher who can encourage and support others to deliver outcomes overcoming the hurdles encountered on route.

You will be a multi-talented individual capable of being an inspirational member of a newly formed team which will combine programme management office skills with a peripatetic remit to work with project leads and teams, informing, facilitating and developing their skills and delivery ability with tools and techniques to achieve successful project outcomes.

This will support a multi-million pound, multi-year investment programme spanning adult social care, public health and the NHS.

The facilitators will be responsible for ensuring a governance and programme approach to developing, recording, tracking, monitoring and evaluation of all projects feeding back on progress to all stakeholders. Resolution and recovery from divergence will also be a feature of the role to support teams in scheme delivery.

Innovation and transformative projects are a key aspect of this change programme. Not all will be successful however there is no failure where the process has been as good as it could be, understood and the learning clearly reported and shared.

The individual will be required to produce high-quality reports for information and audit purposes. Alignment of these, and all activity, with the Devon STP, Devon County Council and National priorities will be essential.

On-going learning and exploration of new techniques and tools for improved working and project delivery will be a key part of the team’s support to one another.
