We have been the host Authority for the South West Consultants Framework since 2008 and the South West Consultants Framework 2017 - 2021 is the 3rd of these frameworks we have managed.

The purpose of the Framework is to provide public body Users with access to a full project management and design team service to support construction related projects.

The Framework, which has been developed in consultation with users and Consultants, sees a change in format to increase opportunities for smaller more local Consultants to benefit from the contracts called off from it.

A formal tender process was conducted using the Restricted Procedure, in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and published in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) Ref 2016/S 046-076297. See Framework Documents page for full details of the OJEU notices.

The result is a regional framework of suitably experienced, capable, qualified and resourced Consultants across a wide range of disciplines, available for use by all public sector bodies for construction projects being undertaken in the South West region [1].

The Framework can be used for projects with a fee value either below or above the EU spend threshold. It can be used as a comprehensive 'one stop' consultancy solution or as a schedule of specialist elements which can be purchased in isolation or any bespoke combination according to individual need.

The Framework will be in place from 6 January 2017 to 5 January 2021.
