The current processing time for new applications and changes to benefit claims is an average of 6 weeks. If you contact us with a general enquiry online we will reply to you within two working days.

If you are paid your tenants rent direct then you will get this every four weeks.

If it is a tenants’ first payment or their benefit has changed you may get it sooner.

We will write to you to tell you when:

  • Benefit is awarded
  • A change has happened
  • How much the weekly award will be
  • When the payment stops or is suspended

Payment schedules

As a landlord you can access all of your tenants’ payment information online. You will need an email address to access this service and we will send you a password in the post.
