Instructions
You can use this form to report problems with street lighting, bollards and
illuminated street signs in Torbay.
How to report a fault with street lighting and illuminated units
To report a fault you will need to know the unit number for the faulty unit, and
the street it is in. The unit number is a black number on a white background
that would be shown facing the street either on the unit or on a supporting
pole or structure. For street lights this number may begin with the letter L,
followed by three digits identifying the unit within the street, for example
L001 or 001. Remember to take note of the street name as this is needed to
locate the unit. If the unit is near a junction note any adjoining street names
too.
If you have any problems using this form or cannot find the unit you are
reporting then you can phone the council on 01803 207720
(8am - 5pm) and our officers will help you report the problem.
Problems selecting a faulty unit
If you are having trouble selecting a unit on the map, try zooming in closer and
clicking as near to the unit as possible.
Occasionally if you select a unit using the map you may be told "No unit
selected". This can happen with newer units or units in remote places. If this
happens, please locate the unit again on the Find Street page. Note that if the
unit is near to a street junction it may be located on either street.
If you still can't select the unit, phone us on the number shown above and
Torbay Council will try to locate the unit for you.
