That Councillor Sanders be appointed as the Liberal Democrat representative on South West Councils representing Torbay Council.

Information:

South West Councils have advised that they wish to have ten top up places so ensure that membership more accurately reflects the political balance across the region. There are five Liberal Democrat top up places including one offered to Torbay Council which Councillor Sanders has volunteered to represent the Council. In accordance with the Council’s Constitution this appointment needs to be confirmed by the Chief Executive in consultation with the Mayor and Group Leaders.
